Lennon & Harding are always on the lookout for fresh new talent, and people with an interest in working in the area of litigation.

Do you fit the bill?

In celebration of FG's birthday, I decided to attempt to complete a set of those one sentence prompts everybody loves. And can I tell you, it was pretty tricky to keep it to just one sentence :)

Characters should be obvious (unless otherwise stated) and I tried to get at least one from all of mine in there. Special guest appearances from a couple of others as well - off the top of my head, Blues, Clotho, Columbia, Lady Liberty, US Military, Thanatos and Desmond.

Coffee supplier is sending us inferior beans and/or blends. This morning's brew I wouldn't even give to the District Attorney. Investigate further; possible lawsuit? Cass to find alternatives.

Top official from the Securities and Exchange Commission called. Apparently they want our firm as part of the team handling the Goldman Sachs lawsuit. Have also recieved a call from the head honcho handling Goldman Sach's defense. Despite the latter naming a far higher sum than the former (for obvious reasons), we will most likely accept the SEC's offer. I blame that damn Norse's influence, damn him

Miri's requested leave of absence: DENIED Reluctantly granted (provided she returns before we start trial prep on the Goldman Sachs case). Start the wheels in motion in regards to New York. Washington, she's on her own.

Misc: try to limit the number of pro bono cases Mr. Forsythe takes on (again). Also, try and find a way to get rid of a former senior partner. I thought eternal peace was supposed to mean just that.

When: a little backstory. several years before present happenings.


There was something about a courtroom that brought out the best – and worst – in people. And Litigation wouldn’t have it any other way. He was at present working as in-house counsel for a stockbroking firm, but the company had an annoying policy of trying to cut corners, and settling disputes before they reached the courts. As a result, his calendar was pretty much free, and he was seriously considering leaving before the month was up.
